Sapphire Advisors creates programs for the most senior executives of the firm that prepare them to lead at the enterprise level. We align the learning objectives with current business strategies and utilize a variety of best practice methodologies including case studies, live business problem solving or business simulations, and experiential learning. We leverage our global expertise in this area to design programs that are effective with a variety of cultural backgrounds and learning styles.

LEADERSHIP PROGRAM DESIGN AND DELIVERY

Sapphire Advisors creates and delivers programs for emerging and high potential leaders on core leadership principles, such as creating and communicating a strategic vision, leading authentically to build trust and loyalty, building a high performance team, and understanding personal style and values.

EXECUTIVE COACHING

Sapphire Advisors creates and implements a coaching plan for development based on agreed upon objectives and needs.  We conduct a brief assessment (either through interviews and/or 360 degree surveys) to better understand current strengths and weaknesses, and decide on clear, measurable and achievable goals. We provide the guidance, tools, support, feedback, and accountability checks the executive needs to ensure that skill and behavior change happens.

LEADERSHIP ASSESSMENT

Sapphire Advisors assesses the quality of your leaders, in terms of their current effectiveness and potential/readiness for future roles. We tailor the process using custom or off-the-shelf assessments to provide insights and answers about leader skills, knowledge, values, personality, role fit, and style strengths and weaknesses. We provide summary reports and suggested development strategies.

TEAM DEVELOPMENT

Sapphire Advisors helps teams when they are newly formed, change leaders or key members, or when the performance of the team has diminished.  We work to identify team issues around trust, role clarity, vision, engagement, etc. and implement methods to get the group aligned and committed. This may involve executive interviews or surveys, team offsites, peer feedback, and/or new operating guidelines development.

MENTORING PROGRAMS

Sapphire Advisors creates high impact mentoring programs based on your objectives and mentor/mentee population.  We create the tools and process to ensure success, including mentor/mentee guidelines and orientation, suggestions for maximizing the relationship, conversation and progress tracking methods, and program marketing/communication materials.

CULTURE TRANSFORMATION

Sapphire Advisors works with you to define both the current and desired culture and develops a strategy to make the transition.  This often involves a culture survey and/or interviews to gain an understanding of what is currently working or not working and what the vision for the future is. Components of the strategy vary, but often include a communications/rollout plan, leadership team alignment meetings, realignment of rewards/incentives, job or work redesign, organization structure redesign, new values rollout, revised performance management tools, an external client communication plan, and new operating guidelines for senior teams.

ORGANIZATION DESIGN

Sapphire Advisors helps you redesign components of your organization based on your goals, business needs, and current situation.   We review documents and conduct interviews to get a full understanding of the existing structure and key roles, as well as key processes and work flow.   We make recommendations for redesign based on our findings, and then may or may not be involved with implementation, based on your preference.

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT AND RETENTION

Sapphire Advisors develops high impact strategies to help you engage and retain talent.   We assess what's currently working and not working through surveys, exit interview data, leadership meetings, etc., and determine approaches that will best fit based on your goals and needs.  We also look at what aspects of the culture and manager behavior may need to be modified and make recommendations accordingly. Strategies vary, but often include leadership and manager training, manager toolkits, benefits redesign, incentive plan redesign, contests and awards, town hall meetings, career path design, and development planning programs.

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

Sapphire Advisors works with you to review existing processes that are viewed as slow, inefficient, outdated, or non-value added.   We review work flow, paper flow, handoffs, decision making, existing training, technology used, communication patterns, and so on to pinpoint issues and make recommendations.   We may provide data on best practices, suggest certain technologies, etc.  We may or may not be involved in implementation based on your preferences.

CHANGE MANAGEMENT

Sapphire Advisors helps you manage change and transformation through a variety of strategies based on your objectives.   We provide a full spectrum of methods, which can include stakeholder analysis and stakeholder management plans, readiness assessments, decision process planning, roadmaps, change impact assessments, training strategy/plans/implementation, communication strategy/plans/implementation, etc.
